Its truly sad that the first journal entry I have in ages is about...the game that stole my soul. *grin* Not my wonderful boyfriend of 8 months (Shut up Twinky *grin*), not about phat birthday lewtz, but...what I got in Blackwing Lair last night. / enter x-posted entry.

*bounces* I've been hording DKP for ages waiting for Chromie to pay up. X-bow's are nice (we've gotten 3 in the last month. o.O) Then my guild (Prodigy ftw!) had several firsts last night. First DS shoulders drop (MINE!), first DS chestpiece (MINE! *boggles*) and first BWL one night clear. (Usually we have to do Nef the next night.) That puts me at 5/8! ^_^

Whoever thought my hording would get me BOTH hard to get pieces?

I don't know what the hell is wrong with me, I'm hoping its just the headache (I swear my brain is trying to drill its way out of my head through my forehead...) but I'm absolutely miserable and I don't know why. But I feel absolutely worthless and shallow. And I just don't have the energy to do anything about it. I want to crawl away from the world and hide. And its not like I have a bad life, which makes it even worse. But...I'm 30 years old and what do I have to show for it? Nothing, absolutely nothing. I think I'll go curl up in bed and pretend I don't exist for a while.

Just five days till I leave for Arizona...I guess I should start packing. I hate packing. *grin*

On other news...my poor sister. She has an ear infection, and it turns out that at least around here, doctors don't prescribe amocycillin (sp?) anymore for them. They say it gets prescribed far too much. Thanks to this wonderful insight, Tanya's eardrum burst yesterday. -_- All lovely pussiness and bleeding. Poor thing. On the slight bright side, she says her ear doesn't hurt anymore. And the doctors say she can still fly, since no pressure can build up without the eardrum. Poor thing though...

I am in pain. (what happened to my high pain tolerence. -_-) I woke up this morning, stretched and yet again managed to pull my hamstring in my lower calf. I thought it was going to rip in two. It hurts to walk, thank god I don't have a clutch. I wouldn't have been able to drive. -_- *waits for drugs to kick in*

On another note, why can't they go back to airing two new episodes of Yugioh in the morning? I want to see the end! That was I can get rid of this damn plot bunny...*shoos it* Go. Go! Visit

Jittery thanks to inhaler med.

So mom's computer took a dump on Thursday. Clicky noises could have either been from the floppy drive or harddrive (Since her old HP wouldn't let me get into CDOS (Mos?) blah, I'm drawing a blank) to check and see if it was defaulted to check the floppy drive first. Evil clicking. Anyway, by process of elimination, I discovered it was the harddrive. (Can't miss it, crack the case, feel the HD vibrate with each click. -_-) So she decided to go out a buy a new computer...another HP, sadly but nicely loaded. Dual core processors, 2 gigs of DDR2 RAM, lightscribe drive (I want one.) 320gig harddrive...and loads of other stuff, including a nicely decent video card. She'd promised if I'd gotten her old computer up and running (which I couldn't without her spending money obviously) I could spend saturday playing WoW, since I'd been invited on a guild run to Molten Core. Since that's where a quarter of my epic gear drops from, I was highly looking forward to going.

Spent all night reinstalling software on her new 'puter (as in up till almost 4 am) with her hovering over my shoulder. -_- To find out that I'm not allowed to play with it till she gets more comfortable with it. Translation "Screw you Heather." -_- So that's why I wasn't online. Sorry all. Won't be till Wednesday night either (minus work) since I'm wifesitting again. yay.

On the bright side, I made it halfway through Monstro's belly (started at the beginning of Deep Jungle) before I couldn't keep my eyes open. That was fun. *grin* My stepdad was all irritated because he can't get past Clayton and I one shotted him. Thoroughly plan on playing the two nights I'm at Dad's.

Talk about taking fan based stuff to the limit. I can't remember who rec'd it in their journal...but I was tuned into www.startreknewvoyages.com a few months back. I downloaded one of the eps (there's 2 now I think.) and was fairly impressed. *grin* Made me think how much not obsessed I am...yet. Blah.

Anyways, I was amazed to read that Walter Koenig (Chekov) agreed to do an episode mostly Chekov 'centric. o.O Real actors doing a fanisode and not getting paid...amazing, right? I just checked the site again today, and not only him, but now George Takai (Sulu) and the actress who played Rand (name escape me at the moment.) has agreed to as well.

Bah. So...this girl I've been friends with since Junior High has decided I'm unworthy of being spoken too again. Because I forgot Tuesday was the 17th (her birthday). -_- She has decided I was using her, and that's it. Forget that I work at a newspaper and so my days are usually 2-3 days ahead due to deadlines...or that its been busy...or anything. This is the same girl who has only come to see me since I moved across the bay twice in the last five years. Three if you count a trip to Reno and she picked me up (since I'm on the way.). The same girl who's terrible at returning phonecalls, or changing plans at the last minute and forgets to tell anyone. Who gets mad when I want an occasional night home (ok, so I like relaxing in front of my computer. *grin*) and who more than once has stood me up because she got into a fight with her family and wanted to hide. And I've never once said anything about it. And yet I'm using her because she bought me a flipping drink on my birthday when I didn't even want to go out.

Can't tell I'm a little frustrated, can you? Its been two days since I got the email and I'm still angry/hurt. Bah.

On the slightly bright side...I finally used that Target gift card my cousin gave me and bought my eeyore comfortor. Its the girliest thing I've ever seen...but so cute!

Something about how they might be adding exclusive Revolution content to it, even though it is a Gamecube game. But the guy hopes that means that the Revolution will be out in June or July. And GameStop is showing a release date of KH:II as March 31. *crosses fingers*

I'm thinking of renaming my journal. My prime choice (since I use it for all my gaming...) was Dulcea, but that's already taken. What do you all think if I choose _Dulcea_?

And speaking of gaming...*bounces* I hit 60 on my hunter on friday night! Yay me!!! Mind you, that's only the highest till the expansion pack comes out later this year and they raise the cap to 70, but..I did it!!! *grin* And before the rest of my family, to their disgust. And that's after almost 2 months off. They just suck. *grin*

I'll post screenies hopefully this weekend, including the all important golden ding. (Ok, well, they're all golden, but this one is special!)

Brought my GameCube down to Mom's so I could finally finish WindWaker (shut up, I get distracted easily...ooooh, Ancient Egypt Pharaoh, how pretty...where was I?) and discovered something horrifying. My memory card is GONE. I have one of those little CD wallets designed for GC games, and my memory card used to live in the little pocket inside there...and its not there. *whines* I don't want to start from the beginning! Everything was on there...bleh.

Saw Elizabethtown tonight. Nothing to say. Sad, ne? I really want to see Dreamer though, and I finally saw the movie poster for Goblet of Fire. Looks nummy. I just hope they don't slaughter the plot too badly.

Still thinking about NaNoWriMo...maybe I'll keep working on that Yugioh/Prétear ficcie. Might be able to write enough for that. I've still got time to figure it out.

This whole living with family thing is really starting to suck. This is the second day in a row that I've had to leave less than ten minutes after I got up due to traffic issues my aunt's known about for over an hour. *grumbles*

Work...was actually fun today. There wasn't a tremendous amount of work so we were all joking back and forth. Boss needs to go on vacation more often. *grin*

And for GOOD NEWS!!! *bounces* Cassie'll be out next weekend!!! Translation I won't be online much but YAY!!! Cassie time!!! ^_^
